Miniature Slip Rings

Slip rings are commonly used to transfer electrical signals and power to a rotating shaft. The Orbex 300 series is ideally suited to applications where signals and power need to be transmitted in a compact space. By using a small rotor diameter, surface speeds are minimized. This allows for minimal imbalance which translates into long life. The use of gold on gold contacts assures long life, low noise, minimal interference between circuits, and low contact resistance. Slip rings can be ordered with low current signal circuits, high current power circuits, or a mix of the two. Configurations start at 2 circuits and extend through 56 circuits in the standard 300 series offering.
